WE FACILITATE OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE
"Optimal performance is about doing the very best you can in the moment - whatever that moment might be"

BELIEFS and PHILOSOPHY

Beliefs

At Wildebock Learning, we believe that continuous learning is essential for the development of individual persons, groups, organisations and the whole society.

The fast development of the society at large, including the technologic development, means that learning needs to become more effective and efficient to optimise performance. A lot of the necessary knowledge and skills will have to be acquired in the work environment, where the appropriate resources need to be available to the learner.

We believe that people learn individually through experiences that are linked to emotions. Therefore, we believe that the better and stronger the learning experience is perceived, the more effective is the learning with regard to both the actual learning (quality) and the retention thereof.

We believe learning is triggered either by outside stimuli (e.g. rules), or so called 'push' situation, or by inside stimuli (e.g. curiosity), or a so called 'pull' situation. Each learner has an individual attitude to these methods and the learning should therefore be tailored to the learner's individual needs and learning styles.

We do not believe in a transfer of learning from a 'trainer' to a learner, but that real learning can only be facilitated by providing the learner with the appropriate resources (see RESOURCES).

The actual learning happens when the learner is curious, motivated and has the appropriate resources at the time he or she wants to learn.

Philosophy

Wildebock Learning is based on six ‘pillars’:

  • Integrity (being honest and transparent); we keep what we promise and do our best to manage expectations
  • Inclusion (apply diversity and capitalise on group dynamics); to us, all learners are equal and have something to contribute to other learners’ development
  • Innovation (using the best available resources and latest tools); to us each learner is unique and have the right to a learning method that suits his or her needs
  • Inspiration (arranging a learning environment that will engage, motivate and help all learners to develop); we believe the most effective learning is achieved when the learner is engaged and inspired
  • Individuality (create ‘self-empowerment’ and courage based on true knowledge and skills); we want to give the  learner the knowledge and skills needed to being employable, both now and in the future
  • Independence (making our own choices); we want to offer a high quality service and therefore we choose who we work with

    Wildebock Learning wants its learners to achieve

  • (Self-)Empowerment through learning;
  • Employability through knowledge and skills enhancement;
  • Empathy growth through situation analyses

At Wildebock Learning, we follow an ethical and moral compass:

  • We believe in equal rights and opportunities
  • We follow the (local) laws and other rules and regulations which may apply
  • We work only with parties which share our values
  • We strive to be an corporate and socially responsible (CSR) organisation to the largest degree possible
  • We do not take political (or other) stance, but we strive to create an understanding and awareness of the consequences of e.g. political decisions
